As part of the WOP, MCA-Mongolia is undertaking various stages of work in close cooperation with the Water Supply and Sewerage Authority of Ulaanbaatar City (USUG). This initiative includes evaluating USUG’s baseline performance from 2019 to 2021 and identifying priority areas for improvement using "Aquarating," an international assessment and benchmarking tool for utility operations developed by the International Water Association. The WOP aims to enhance capacity building for USUG’s engineers and technical staff from 2023 to 2025, focusing on the identified priority areas through expertise shared by the Kingdom of the Netherlands.+ read more
