[Ulaanbaatar city, October 11, 2023] - The Water Service Regulatory Commission of Mongolia and MCA Mongolia organized an “Improving Technical Solutions on Drinking Water Quality” discussion with the aim of exchanging information on methods and technical solutions to ensure the safety of drinking water and the improving service quality of residential and public utilities.

Representatives of the Ministry of Construction and Urban Development, Construction Development Center, World Health Organization, Asian Development Bank, United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF), Mongolian Academy of Sciences, Mongolian University of Science and Technology, and Public Utilities Non-Governmental Organizations attended discussion.

At the “Improving Technical Solutions on Drinking Water Quality” discussion, participants discussed the water quality of Ulaanbaatar city and its settlements, current challenges, the involvement of both public and private sectors in addressing these issues, future action plans, as well as technical solutions, while also exchanging their opinions.
